Delete PDF pages

Remove unwanted pages and restore mistakes before saving, while your PDF stays in the browser and is not uploaded.

Choose a PDF to start.

Your PDF is processed locally in your browser; the file is not uploaded. Page content and external links are kept. Bookmarks, form fields and links to other pages may not survive deletion or reordering; rotation alone keeps them.

Deleting a page is not secure redaction, and the file size may not shrink.

Remove unwanted sheets from a PDF

    1. To delete PDF pages, choose your document and identify unwanted sheets using the preview cards and original page labels.
    2. Select individual cards or enter positions such as 2, 5-7. Check the selection before using the Delete button.
    3. For blank backs in a double-sided scan, try even or odd positions, then inspect every selected page before deleting.
    4. Review the dimmed cards marked Deleted. Use a card's restore button if it contains material you want to keep.
    5. Leave at least one page, save the edited copy and verify that the downloaded PDF contains the intended content.

    Reasons to trim a document

    • Discard blank backs that interrupt the flow of a scanned report.
    • Remove a duplicate scan of the same physical sheet.
    • Exclude an obsolete cover before circulating an updated document.
    • Cut unrelated attachments from a copy intended for one recipient.
    • Drop scanner test sheets accidentally included in a batch.

    Questions about removing PDF pages

Can I bring back a page before saving?

A deleted page stays visible as a dimmed card with a restore control. You can also undo recent edits; saving leaves the current working cards available for further corrections.

How do I remove alternate blank pages?

For a six-page scan with blank backs at positions 2, 4 and 6, select even positions and delete them, leaving three pages. Check first: some scanners already skip blank backs.

Do deleted cards still count in ranges?

Yes. Ranges and odd/even selection include deleted cards in the current display order. Deleting position 2 does not immediately make the next card position 2 in the editor.

    Will the download be smaller?

It may be, but removing pages does not guarantee a smaller file. Shared resources and the way the PDF is rebuilt affect its size; this operation is not compression.

Is page deletion suitable for hiding sensitive information?

Deleting a page is not secure redaction. Do not rely on this tool to sanitize a document or remove all traces of confidential content.

What limitations should I check before sharing?

After you remove pages from PDF documents, bookmarks, form fields and internal links may not survive; page content and external links are kept. Memory limits can prevent large exports, and the result must contain at least one page.
