Rotate PDF pages and save
Turn individual pages or the whole document, with the PDF processed in your browser and no file upload.
Drag pages to change their order, or use the arrow buttons. Select pages to edit them together.
These actions affect selected pages, or all pages when nothing is selected. Extraction skips deleted pages.
Insert after the last selected page in the current order, or at the end if nothing is selected.
Undo: Ctrl+Z or ⌘Z. Redo: Ctrl+Y, Ctrl+Shift+Z or ⌘⇧Z. Text fields keep their usual shortcuts.
Your PDF is processed locally in your browser; the file is not uploaded. Page content and external links are kept. Bookmarks, form fields and links to other pages may not survive deletion or reordering; rotation alone keeps them.
Deleting a page is not secure redaction, and the file size may not shrink.
Save the correct page orientation
- To rotate PDF pages, open the file and find the thumbnails that appear sideways or upside down.
- Use a page card's left or right button for a single correction, or select several cards for a shared adjustment.
- Use the toolbar to turn the selection by 90°. With no pages selected, the same action turns the whole document.
- For an upside-down scan, apply the same rotation twice: 90° plus 90° makes 180°. Check headings in the previews.
- Choose Save PDF and open the downloaded copy to confirm that the orientation is saved in the document.
When page rotation helps
- Turn a sideways receipt so the purchase details read upright.
- Fix an upside-down scan created by feeding sheets the wrong way.
- Adjust one chart without turning correctly oriented text pages.
- Correct a group of scans that share the same orientation error.
- Prepare a readable copy before sending a document to a colleague.
Questions about saved PDF rotation
How is this different from rotating in a viewer?
Some viewers only change the current view. Here, rotate PDF and save means the downloaded document contains the updated page rotation. Reopen that copy to check the result.
How can I turn every page at once?
Deselect all cards, then use Rotate left or Rotate right in the toolbar. An empty selection means the bulk action applies to every page, rather than doing nothing.
Can I rotate a range such as pages 2–4?
Enter 2-4 in the position field and apply the selection before rotating. Ranges refer to the current card positions, which may differ from original page labels after rearrangement.
Does rotation convert the text into an image?
The saved change updates page rotation; it does not rebuild the page from its thumbnail. Existing selectable text stays text, while a scanned image remains a scan without added text recognition.
Are bookmarks and forms preserved?
Rotation alone keeps bookmarks, forms, metadata and internal links when every original page remains once in its original order. This is not a guarantee that an existing digital signature remains valid.
What if I rotate the wrong way or encounter an error?
Use Undo or the opposite rotation button to correct direction. Large files can exceed browser memory, and password-protected documents require an unprotected source copy.
