Organize PDF pages
Reorder, rotate and remove pages from one PDF, processed locally in your browser without uploading the file.
Drag pages to change their order, or use the arrow buttons. Select pages to edit them together.
These actions affect selected pages, or all pages when nothing is selected. Extraction skips deleted pages.
Insert after the last selected page in the current order, or at the end if nothing is selected.
Undo: Ctrl+Z or ⌘Z. Redo: Ctrl+Y, Ctrl+Shift+Z or ⌘⇧Z. Text fields keep their usual shortcuts.
Your PDF is processed locally in your browser; the file is not uploaded. Page content and external links are kept. Bookmarks, form fields and links to other pages may not survive deletion or reordering; rotation alone keeps them.
Deleting a page is not secure redaction, and the file size may not shrink.
How to arrange your document
- To organize PDF pages, choose one document and inspect its thumbnails before making changes.
- Drag a card into place, or use its earlier and later buttons to rearrange PDF pages with a keyboard or touch screen.
- Correct sideways pages with the rotation buttons and mark unwanted pages for deletion; their cards remain available to restore.
- Review the sequence and the remaining page count. Original page labels identify source pages, not their new positions.
- Save the result as a new PDF, then open the download to check the reading order and any document navigation.
Practical ways to organize a PDF
- Move a scanned cover sheet ahead of the report it belongs to.
- Place an appendix after the relevant section instead of at the beginning.
- Correct the orientation of a landscape diagram within a portrait document.
- Remove an accidentally scanned separator before sharing a reading copy.
- Restore the intended sequence when scanning produced pages out of order.
Questions about arranging PDF pages
Do page numbers change when I move a card?
The card label retains the original page number. For example, moving page 5 before page 2 gives the sequence 1, 5, 2, 3, 4. Numbers printed inside the pages are not rewritten.
Can I reverse an entire document?
Reverse order flips the full card sequence. This helps when a scan starts with the last sheet. Inspect the cover and final page before downloading.
How do I recover from a wrong move?
Undo reverses the latest edit, with up to 50 undo states available. Reset returns to the original pages, order and orientation and removes added pages.
Will pages with different dimensions keep their sizes?
Pages retain their individual dimensions. Reordering does not make an A3 drawing match an A4 letter, so check print settings separately when printing a mixed document.
What happens to bookmarks and interactive fields?
Page content and external links are retained, but reordering or deleting may lose bookmarks, form fields and internal links. Keep the source and verify any navigation you rely on.
Why might a large PDF fail to open or save?
Available device memory limits processing, particularly for image-heavy scans. Try a smaller document or close other tabs. Encrypted PDFs need an unprotected copy before editing.
