Polish financial statement XML viewer

Read Polish annual accounts as a report with tables and notes, with the file processed locally in your browser and not uploaded.

Open a financial statement

Drop XML, XAdES or ZIP files here. Open several years together to compare figures.

XML, XML.XAdES, XAdES and ZIP. File size limit: 150 MB. A detached signature requires the original XML.

Files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded. Electronic signatures are not verified.

Read a statement and prepare a copy

  1. Open the Polish financial statement XML viewer and choose an XML, XML.XAdES, XAdES or ZIP file. You can also open the fictional example to explore the report before selecting your documents.
  2. Check the entity, reporting period and amount unit first. The introduction includes accounting policies and going concern information where supplied; figures may be expressed in PLN or thousands of PLN.
  3. Read the balance sheet and profit and loss account, then any equity changes, cash flow, notes and income tax reconciliation. Current, previous and restated previous-year values remain separate.
  4. Load another year for the same entity to compare key figures. A rise from PLN 800,000 to PLN 1,000,000 is 25%: the PLN 200,000 difference is divided by the previous value.
  5. Choose Print / save PDF for a readable copy, or download CSV for Excel. Print settings follow the selected label language and empty-position display; download attachments separately.

What you can examine

  • Read company accounts downloaded from KRS without navigating XML tags, including standard company, small-entity, micro-entity and NGO layouts.
  • Compare the reported assets with total equity and liabilities, and the net result across statements where the required positions exist. These checks do not constitute an audit.
  • Inspect comparative or by-function profit and loss accounts and direct or indirect cash flow statements, depending on the sections actually present.
  • Read a Polish balance sheet in English alongside official Polish labels. English names are translations; company narratives and unavailable translations remain in their original language.
  • Review indicative equity/assets and net-result/revenue ratios when denominators are positive. Ratios are omitted for NGOs; check the precise revenue label before interpreting a margin.

Questions about statement files

Where can I get a company's statement?

Use the free KRS financial documents repository, RDF, at rdf-przegladarka.ms.gov.pl, or an export from the e-sprawozdania application. XML stores structured figures and disclosures, so the download need not be a ready-made PDF.

Why does an XAdES file fail to open?

An XAdES container may include the statement as XML or encoded data, which the reader extracts. A detached signature contains no statement: obtain the original XML. Electronic signatures are detected but never verified.

Does version 1-0E mean an old format?

Not necessarily. The 2026 CRD generation uses 1-0E, and some 2018 files also use that value. The reader supports older 2018–2025 structures too. Banks, insurers, funds and consolidated accounts use position codes instead of full label dictionaries.

Are note attachments included in the PDF?

Their names appear in the report, but their contents are separate files. Open or download them from the notes or attachment list. The browser's PDF is a visualisation; retain the original XML and any signed container.

Why is a percentage change missing?

Change percentages use the previous-year value as the denominator and are shown only when it is positive. Missing figures remain missing, not zero. Multi-year comparisons convert recognised thousand-PLN amounts to PLN; differing reporting periods still need interpretation.

How large a file can I open?

The limit is 150 MB per file, with additional archive and XML complexity limits. Available device memory can become a constraint earlier. If extraction fails, unpack the archive on your device and select the statement XML directly.
