How to use the flashcards
- Add words on the manage tab by typing a front and a back side.
- Start the quiz mode and flip cards to mark each answer as known or to repeat.
- Use the OCR tab to import pairs from a photo of a word list.
- Export your set to a file so you can back it up or import it later.
- Mark cards honestly during a session so the repeat set only contains what you really need to drill.

Frequently asked questions
Are my cards private?
Yes. Cards and images are processed locally in your browser and stored only on your device. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
What are the limitations?
OCR depends on clear, evenly lit photos and installed language models, so handwriting may be read poorly. Cards are stored in browser storage, which is limited to a few megabytes.
Can I import my own word list?
Yes. You can load a previously exported JSON file or use the OCR tab to read pairs from an image.
What does class mode do?
It generates a room code so several people can join a session on the same device and progress through the cards together.
Does the quiz repeat difficult words?
Yes. Cards marked as not known are collected in the to-repeat scope, so you can drill them again.
What happens when I close the browser?
Your card set is saved in browser storage and restored the next time you open the page on the same device. Exporting to a file adds a backup you can move between devices. Clearing the browser data removes the saved set, so keep a JSON backup if the cards matter.
