Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The generated codes are static: the content is stored inside the image itself, so they keep working forever and do not depend on any service.
Is the Wi-Fi password sent anywhere?
No. The code is built in your browser, and neither the network name nor the password leaves your device.
What does error correction mean?
It is extra data that lets a damaged or partly covered code still scan. Higher levels make the code denser but more robust.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG works everywhere, from documents to social media. SVG is a vector file that stays perfectly sharp when printed on posters or packaging.
Can I change the colours?
Yes, but keep a strong contrast with a dark code on a light background, otherwise some phones may not read it.
How much text fits in one code?
A few hundred characters scan reliably. Very long content produces a dense code, so shorten links whenever you can.
